Is this a bridal shower? Yes, but no. Here's why:
We've all either hosted a shower, planned one, or been the center of one. We're going to switch it up with this one. This won't be in the morning, it's going to be at cocktail hour. There won't be a mimosa bar, there will just be straight champagne. There are no games to compete on who knows me best and I've already got a KitchenAid.
What's the point then? I know so many outstanding women, from all stages, and I'd love to bring them all together and celebrate this exciting time in my life. Plus, I've switched up a lot of things during this wedding planning, and Carole hasn't said it - but she would like a shower of some sort - she only has one child.
